Software Development and Applications (Tech-World IT)
The Software Development and Applications CELL introduces students to the concept of software development. Students use Access to develop a database for a video store that is then linked to a Visual Basic program that tracks customers, orders, and inventory. Students learn and use the principles of the program development cycle. Interaction with the customer to learn the requirements of the new program occurs through an interactive multimedia presentation. The 75 hour version of this CELL contains more advanced database and programming skills related to the same project.
