Fluid Power (40020-70)
Through the Fluid Power course and hands-on exercises, students learn the scientific principles and components that make up fluid power systems and how these systems operate in machines and equipment.
They are introduced to the physics and mathematics of fluid power, including pressure, area, force, work, and energy. They discover many of the ways in which pneumatics and hydraulics provide the power to accomplish difficult tasks.
