Power Line Series Compensation Demonstrator (8362)
The unit is powered from a standard single-phase wall outlet. It simulates two high-voltage (735 kV) three-phase transmission lines: one uncompensated, the other compensated to 17% or 34%.
Line voltage, current, active power, reactive power, and phase angle are measured at the inputs and outputs of the lines.
The Power Line Series Compensator includes all the test equipment necessary to perform the laboratory exercises.
Input and output metering, dual transmission lines, and various loads are all available from the front panel of the unit.
Additional equipment can be easily connected through the use of standard 4-mm safety sockets mounted on the front panel and inserted at various taps of the circuit.
Mounted on casters, the trainer can be easily moved. An optional shipping crate facilitates external shipping.
